Posted By: Julie
I'll send you a Joss scan, when I find your e-mail address. I don't think it would help here--but what do I know?

Posted By: jay behrens
This card is fine. I'd rather see one with a few imperfections, that way, if someone tries to steal the image and create a fake, we can easily identify it.

Jay

Posted By: Julie
Seems to be a nice card--I'd say whether I thought it was trimmed, but hunger is clouding my judgement right now.
Jay might have a point about slightly rough condition making it easier to tell if it's copied or reproduced, but he could post a dandy one and put a logo on it...

Posted By: Julie
It would have taken me three hours to do that; it probably took you about 15 seconds..That's "NO NUMBER" of course, not "No Name."

Posted By: runscott
I did not edit the Joss bitmap - I simply cut off the edges and pasted it over a PRO Hal Chase image currently on ebay. If someone were to trim your card, this is exactly what the result could be. Scary, isn't it?

Someone commented that these trimmed cards simply increase the value of the un-trimmed ones. This is true, but keep in mind that the end result is still a depletion of the un-altered vintage card supply, and this supply can NEVER be replenished. Gary Moser, and people like him, are scumbags who have no appreciation whatsoever for our hobby - they simply found a way to make a buck and ran with it. Same for Koos and his restored comic books...he's a douchebag pure and simple.
