Posted By: Russell McBride
I have viewed the last 54 pages searching for organizational/inventory software. There was only 1 reply with a program I had investigated but decided against.

I am building a collection beginning with 50's to 70's cards plus olders cards and memorabilia. Rather than buy individual cards I am buying collections. I am keeping cards for my collection and will be selling duplicates. I am a collector and not a dealer.

I am drawn to the programs that have a database description rather than a program requring all add-in information. My experience is most lacking beginning in the first advertisents to the 50's.

Programs I am considering are Ballcards, CardCollector and Wincards. Some of these provide pricing updates. As my interest is from the 70's and earlier, subscribing and paying for updated 80's plus info is unneeded.

These programs range from shareware to commercial and the cost is modest so features is a bigger factor for consideration.

Your recommendations is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could also design something to fit your own needs using a database program like Access.

Jeff
http://www.seattlehockey.net
