Posted By: Jay Miller
Do I hear a banjo in the background? I just got Barry Sloate's new auction catalog and it appears that his and Lew Lipset's auctions are ending on the same day. This appears to be the best Sloate auction yet with a great selection of N172s and N173s, a Dogs Head Mickey Welch(which unfortunately is more holy than righteous)and alot of other neat vintage material. Between Lew and Barry's auctions there is probably more vintage material than in a Mastro mega auction. Save those pennies kiddies!

Posted By: Adam J. Baxter
Lew as always has some great stuff, but Barry's last auction catalog and his newest one, remind me of the old Sears christmas Wishbook catalogs. It's chock full of "goodies" to drool over. Some really cool 19th century items inside and a killer selection of beautiful N172's and N173's. Who needs food or electricity for a month when there are Old Judge oppurtunities like this?

Posted By: Jay Miller
Does anyone else on the board have interest in the Turkey Red lot of 6 HOFers in Lew's auction(Lot 205)? I would like to pick up the Keeler but have little interest in the other 5 cards.
Not much auction talk lately about Lew's and Barry's auctions even though only about a week to go. What's up?

Posted By: Jay Miller
Hey Keith--that would be great. That would leave a Lajoie, a Griffith and a Jennings.
