You be the judge.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3242764150&category=13705

Posted By: Rob M
Just found out that it is an ultra-rare pre Yankees photo making this very valuable and worthy of one of the finest museum collections. Ruth is wearing a suit that was issued ONLY to the Boston Red Sox players in 1915.

Posted By: Rob
That's amazing...word is that the Babe is actual holding his first home run ball and that it is autographed and noted as such. Unfortunately, the photographer has cropped it out of the photo but, still, this just adds to the value of this tremendously rare image! Better get your bids in quick cuz with this new information the seller will likely be changing this to a private auction with no returns.

Posted By: Hankron
Babe Ruth is like John F Kennedy, Elvis and Maryln Monroe. Even if you they don't give two cents about sports, most Americans know what Babe Ruth is supposed to look like ... On a more technical note: considering the age of the photo itelf, Babe would have been about ten at the time this photo was taken, which this man obviously is not.

Posted By: Jeff M
Since I couldn't "get over it" . I figured I may as well post, this would be a very nice picture of the Babe if it was him. The only problem is that this is a picture of Lou Costello, of Abbott & Costello fame. This picture was taken right after they did there famous "whose on first" routine.

Posted By: Hankron
Actually, it's the opera singer, Enrico Caruso-- though I wouldn't be surpised if Capone was a fan.
