View Full Version : How do I tell the year of an old card with no markings?

Posted By: <b>finort</b><p>I have a Taylor Douthit card (St. Louis NL)that looks like a photo but it is a printed card. There is no border, ads, or other printing except for his signature and the team name printed right in the photo. The card is 3 3.25 x 4.375. The back is completely blank. Anyone know anything about these cards? Thanks in advance for all answers.

Posted By: <b>fkw</b><p>Sounds like a trimmed 1929 R316 Kashin Publications card. They are exactly what you describe, Douthit is part of set, and your card would match in size. Would need to see a scan to be 100% sure though. Frank
