Posted By: Ben
Yes, I have. They are a Canadian company, and grade mostly hockey cards. They are honest and decent, and do not grade reprints/cutouts/forgeries as far as I know...I guess people go to them because of the cheap grading fees.

http://www.ksacards.ca/

Posted By: Elliot
A lot of Canadians go to them so they don't have to go through the hassle of having their cards going through customs twice. I have a lot more confidence in their ability to discern forgeries/alterations on hockey cards than on other cards.

KSA's grading tends to be more liberal than the grading of PSA and SGC by about 1 to 1 1/2 grades, IMHO, but that's only a guideline.

Posted By: re: KSA
I would agree with Elliot. I do not think they are very good at picking up alterations with pre-war material. They have a lot of experience with hockey cards but I have also found their grades to be 1 to 2 grades higher than other grading services. I used to use them for grading because they do have excellent customer service but not too many people took the grade on the card seriously so it made little sense.
