Posted By: TBob
I received both of mine today, the Sports catalogue and the Americana catalogue. I told my secretary that it reminded me of when I was 8 years old and the Sears Christmas wishbook arrived in the mail with all those wonderful toys. Fantastic selection of collectibles in both catalogues. Time to sell some stuff and get ready

Posted By: Bill Cornell
In the current Mastro auction, lot 0876 (Grover Alexander 1915 Original Photo and 1939 Signed Centennial Cachet) shows a "1915 original photo" of Alexander that I believe is the same one used in his 1914 T222 card (shown below). The background of the T222 is blurry but it appears to be the same photo, which may actually be from 1911 or 1912, as the uniform and socks Alexander is wearing most closely match those years in Mark Okkonen's uniforms book.

Posted By: deadballera
The old Sears catalog...bringing back memories. I used to earmark the pages with the toys I wanted but never seemed to get. Fortunately, I usually received boxes of cards, mainly football since that was sport that was in season during the holidays.

I hope there are some items in the catalog for the budget collector.

I always look forward to receiving the catalogs as most of us do. There are so many interesting pieces no matter if I/we can bid on them or not.
