Posted By: JamesWalkerJr
I bought a '34-'36 Batter Up back in the 80's before I really knew much about vintage cards. On the back of the card is another thin piece of cardboard. It is almost like the card was glued to a scrapbook and then the card was removed by cutting the paper.

I wanted to know if there is a way to remove the extra paper without damaging the card. Looking at submitting the card to SGC, but don't want it to come back as "altered".

Thanks for any ideas,
James Walker, Jr.
Even if you do get it off without damaging the back, you are still going to have the glue stains and no matter how the nice the corners, etc are, you probably won't get better than an SGC 40 for it.

Jay
