They are rare, however. My take on high grade stuff from the 19th century is this: If the seller is a card person and the card is high grade and the card is not encapsulated by one of the major services, I would stay away unless the seller is a very reputable dealer with whom you or members of this board have had significant past dealings.

I'd trust his assessment if you email him and get an answer and I'd feel if he offered a money-back guarantee, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase and send back if necessary.........JMO.......
