Posted By: Anonymous
My stepfather gave me my first T-205 when he found it cleaning out his mother's apt. in Florida. The picture above is the wrapper the card was in. Can anyone tell me if these wrappers are rare and if this is really what the T-205's came in. I saw on the T206museum that t-206's came straight out of the box.

http://www.t206museum.com/page/periodical_16.html

Any comments?
A Decent number of cigarette boxes at that time period came wrapped in that same cellophane-type rice/wax paper wrapping. However, the one you have pictured looks to me as though it would have been around a Murad, Helmar, Mogul, or Egyptian Dettie cigarette box (all of which were made by S. Anargyros Co.) - but all never contained a T205 card inside. The wrapper is certainly from the correct time period.

But if you check the factory info on the card and compare to that on the wrapper, you'll probably find that they don't match...just a guess.
