It looks like I will be there---the wife and kids are on board with spending some time in Atlantic City. <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> Does anybody have any ideas regarding hotels and/or activities for a 10 and 12 year old?<BR><BR>

As far as kids are concerned, if I am not mistaking, they can gamble as long as you are with them <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> ...So, see there., you are all fixed up...... should be fun.....

Posted By: <b>david</b><p>For kids there is the boardwalk and the beach. also each casino has a game room for children which is supervised and a parent must sign childen in and out. trump marina has a baseketball court also

I was just recently in Atlantic City on a job trip and there is a ton to do on the boardwalk - everything from the beach to games and booths. As for the Casino, I just turned 21 and happened to notice that noone is allowed on the floor who is under 21. I'm not sure how strict they are about children, but I didn't really see any walking around while I was there. (not that I was really looking though)

Posted By: <b>david</b><p>on the weekends during the summer the hotels are pretty much booked and run at least 400 a night at one of the casinos, your best bet is one of the hotels that doesnt have a casino, and then you should expect to pay close to 300 a night.

Atlantic City is different. They want ALL of your money and charge accordingly.<BR><BR>Cy

I have been there about 3 times in the last 8 years and have yet to find that place...and I have eaten at most of the casino's etc......Of course this is coming from a person who's favorite restaurant is any "ALL YOU CAN EAT" buffet <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> regards all

Posted By: <b>warshawlaw</b><p>I came home with a case of hepatitis A for my troubles. Stay far, far away from the cheapie buffets. <BR><BR>LV has a number of really great restaurants now, so much so that when I go I plan on dropping $300-$400 a night on fine dining.
