Posted By: Ben
Who here collects them? Also, how tough are they in your experience compared to other rarer 'e' cards (ie. Nadja, e97, e101, e104,)?

Love the green back advertisement, and you don't see them too often...interesting issue! I'd love to hear what everybody has to say about them.

Posted By: RC_McKenzie
I collected the set for about 2 years and had about 20 of the set. I saw all of the cards for sale except for the Bill Bergen, Johnny Seigle and Wagner throwing. I did not see as many cards with the vertical crease as is sometimes reported. Good Luck.

Posted By: Ben
Pete says on his site that e105's are smaller than the standard e card...It seems to me that the actual cards are the same size, but the picture frames on mello mints are just smaller/tighter. Is this true?

Posted By: RC_McKenzie
Mello-Mints are 1 3/8 x 2 5/8 while most ecards are 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 . Mello-Mints are printed on very thin paper stock similar to the Caramelo Deportivo cards. In my opinion, this allows for less wear and creasing than more brittle issuses like E106 Coupon etc.

Posted By: RC_McKenzie
When I say that I collected 20 cards in 2 years I should add that I bought about 60-70% of every e105 offered in every venue during that time. If I had to compare E105's to another ecard set regarding scarcity I would say E97 Briggs.

Posted By: RC_McKenzie
Seems like I saw alot of Hans Loberts and Dave Sheans, but I only looked at the set in the last 3 or 4 years. The E105 Cy Young seems to pop up about every 3 months. Lately, it seems an E105 Jack Knight pops up every other month. Daniels probably has as much info as anybody on these. I don't dispute his findings.

Posted By: B C Daniels
The thought that the Lajoie is easiest to find has been discussed before on the old chat board! The other cards mentioned above mostly come a group found and dealt to James V who dealt them to Scott B.It is actually unusual for the present quanities of specific cards we have seen available over the past four months or so. Even seeing the Cy Young is not common every three months over the long hall.
