Posted By: jay behrens
same old story with me. Need some oscure Wild West cards and am full tilt into the player. If you have low grade cards you want to sell cheap, LMK. Only criteria is that there be no heavy crease through the face and the name on the card is legible. Paper loss and actually chunks of the cards missing are fine as long as the above criteria is met

Jay

But I have several T-206 portraits, and I actually have a PSA-2 portrait that looks very, very nice (I can send a scan). It has the corner wear of a PSA-2, but the surface is very nice and the cards presents tremendously well for a 2-grade card.

I'd probably consider selling it if anyone was still interested. But, I think I got that request while I was in North Carolina a couple weeks ago, and I can't remember who requested this of me.

Hit me up before I change my mind. <laugh> Scott is probably choking to see me offer anything for sale. Thanks for prior responses and any further leads on the following players would be most appreciated: J(onah) Goldman - 1931 Four-on-One Exhibit; Jim Levey - 1933 Tattoo Orbit; Sam Nahem - 1941 St. Louis Cards team issue; Phil Weintraub - 1936 World Wide Gum and 1937 Four-on-One Exhibit; and, the most obscure, Guy Zinn - 1914 Baltimore News. Thanks again for any assistance.

Posted By: Jonathan Perry
Hello all,

I just wanted to mention that I have posted a great baseball card reference book on e-bay this week the auction ends on Sunday evening. The book was printed in the 80's I believe. It features individual pictures of every major card issured from the 1800-s up to 1955 Bowman. Every set is here N28, N143, N127,N248,Scrapps,N300s, odd stuff that I am not to familiar with like N566, BC760s,caramel cards, T204, T205s, T206s, T207s, T3s, T201s, cracker jacks, strip cards, play ball, goudeys etc, etc. The dust jackets is worn and has some rips but the book itself is mint. I hope someone on this board can make a good home for this great book.
here is the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1582108599

Without the pin hole it would have graded a 40 (just my opinion).

Email me if you are interested before it goes on ebay.

Disappointed by the low grade? You can wait for the next one but in my experience I've only seen 4 offered in 20 years and this is one of them.
