Posted By: Dr.Koos
..be "coy" with his above post, but let the awful truth be known! We're keeping Hal "on ice" in Leon's igloo and soon you will be given the terms of his release from Leon himself! And That's THAT!

Posted By: HalleyGator

Sorry guys and gals, I had every intention of being at National and was actually in Chicago ...

until an old family friend died on Monday and then ANOTHER family friend committed suicide on Tuesday.

Needless to say, my wife was not going to miss the funerals so that I could try to find a high grade Allen & Ginters card of Commiskey.

I hope to see you folks someday, but in the meantime, take care and thanks for thinking about me!!

PS - If anyone knows Ryan who collects the Cuban cards, PLEASE tell him that I am a nice guy. He thought we had a deal on a Cuban card, while I thought we were still going to talk about a price, so the deal did not go through. He thinks I did it on purpose, but I don't know why he would think that about me when I have 600+ EBay feedbacks and 100% of them are positive!!

Posted By: leon
Sorry to hear about the double tragedy. There are definitely things a lot more important than our little cardboard gems. Our prayers are with you and your family.....on the side not Ryan is a very nice guy and will most likely understand a miscommunication. Too bad we could not meet at the Nationals but I am sure you were where you were needed most.....Comisky is over a hundred years old and can wait a little longer .....take care and best regards

Posted By: Julie Vognar
and sorry about the deaths in your family.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY LEON CALLS "THE NATIONAL" "NATIONALS"? I don't think political affiliation has anything to do with it...

Really stuipid political argument on another thread--because it's never going to be resolved.
