Posted By: Ryan Christoff
James,

Is it postally used? If not, can you describe the stamp box? I can give you an idea as to the year based on the info about the stamp box. For example: AZO 4 triangles pointed up, etc.

-Ryan

Posted By: Ryan Christoff
James,

That postcard back was produced from 1904 to 1918. I know it's a wide range, but at least now you know for sure the earliest and latest it could be from.

Sorry it wasn't more specific. Some backs were only produced for a year or two. Incidentally, there are 12 different AZO stamp boxes known. Here's some guidelines for some of them in case you need it in the future:

AZO 2 triangles pointed up, 2 triangles pointed down: 1910-1930

AZO 3 triangles pointed up, 1 pointed down: 1911

AZO 4 triangles pointed up: 1904-1918

AZO 4 squares "Place Stamp Here": 1924-1929

AZO 4 squares "Place One-Cent Stamp Here": 1907-1910

AZO 4 circles: 1908-1911

AZO 4 diamonds: 1905-1909

There are no green shamrocks or purple clovers, in case you were wondering.

Hope this helps,

-Ryan
