Posted By: vorthian

This seller sells quite a bit of PRO material, why is it not in a holder?

Personally, based on the scan, I don't like the cut - especially T/B. As far as the L/R, I see a subtle waviness which is prominent on the L edge.

I wouldn't bid on it. I would like a closer look, however, to be sure.

Posted By: Brian Weisner
Your right on the money Tom . These guys are part of the NY PRO card grading Mafia which continues to plague Ebayers. They either slab trimmed cards in Pro holders or attempt to sell nm/mint cards primed for grading. Stay away from these crooks at all cost.
later brian

Posted By: Brian Weisner
Steve
this seller is one of about 5 or 6 that is Pro grading. You ask , why it's not in a pro holder? Simple they have been having a tough time selling vintage cards in Pro holders, ESPECIALLY LATELY. I know of atleast 10 T206's which were listed in the last 2 weeks that didn't sell at 1/3 of psa/sgc prices. I guess they've figured out that they can't fool the vintage collector anymore so they dangle nice looking ungraded cards to unsophisticated grading junkies to sell their vintage inventory.
I don't think these people will ever go away, but we can hope. brian

Posted By: Anonymous
Ya the T213-3s are narrower than other similar T cards, but like TBob said the "As Is" line is the big redflag. Frank

Posted By: hrbaker
I noticed in a couple of new listings tonight, one of the sellers of PRO graded cards has listed 2 Diamond Stars in GAI slabs.

Posted By: Brian Weisner
I also noticed PSA-CARD was selling GAI graded cards as well as a few Psa& Sgc vintage cards. Is the mob going legit? Or trying to legitimize?
we'll see brian
