Posted By: russ
I have inherited numerous cards whose players date right around 1920's. I have no idea as to their value isnce every place I look cannot give me a picture to find out who made the cards. Can someone suggest a way to get the info I am looking for?

Also, I spent about 1/2 hour trying to find a certain player on the internet (Edd Roush) but couldn't, turns out the card I have spells his name rousCh. That card, along with Burleigh Grimes, and Babe Ruth were manufactured by the Oxford Confectionary Co, and I can't find that company listed anywhere. Has anyone ever heard of them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at: rbyer@hotmail.com

In the future after I have gotten some information I would be willing to trade/sell/buy some of the collection to complete other parts.

Thanks.
rbyer@hotmail.com

Posted By: Brueso
The other folks on the board will have a lot more information than I do (and I'm at work, so I don't have any of my books with me). Sounds like you have some kind of caramel cards from the 20s, and certainly with the Bambino as one of them, it sounds like you have had quite a windfall fall into your lap. Keep us posted with what happens.

Bob
