Posted By: runscott
...for instance, yesterday a Mockingbird flew in my door and **** all over my computer desk. A rare chance for revenge, as this very bird had been heckling me every morning for months...and since I now live in Georgia, I could have smashed the little pecker with no legal consequences (you can't kill Mockingbirds in Texas, but I'm a Texan in Gawgia).

My dog had been trying to catch a bird all of her life, so you can imagine her excitement. Any guesses as to the outcome?

Posted By: 2seamer
My guess would be that the bird **** on you again and when you tried your ju-jitsu on it, it pecked your eyes out. Just a guess though.......

take care
2seamer

Posted By: runscott
...but no, my eyes were pecked out by a jaybird over 30 years ago. Despite this, I've learned to collect cards by touch and smell - but please continue to ship me the correct cards. I had to allow my dog, "Barbecue Bill", to eat that Mockingbird - she still remembers the jaybird incident. Despite her age, "Bill" is still able to retrieve cards from my P.O. box and rarely pees on anything other than Festberg auction catalogs.

Posted By: leon
I'll send you my Fritsch and Verkman catalogues and he can pee on them too.....at least that way they will get the recognition they deserve....although both companies do refund promptly.....I feel it is a problem when the "norm" is a return and when you open the package the first expression is "oh sh**"......regards all

Posted By: runscott
I don't even sign the COD's for dog toys anymore. I also got a call the other day from the humane society - they said it was a call-back on my adoption request for 6 cats. The price you pay for companionship.

Posted By: runscott
...I will be auctioning my entire crap Festberg lot of "vg" (he said it, not me) '34 Goudey commons, tonight. Enjoy. Any bets as to whether or not I can re-coup my bid? (which was the opening bid)
