Is he saying that this is a fake PSA holder, copied to match a real PSA 10 holder so that if anybody double-checks the serial number they will be duped into thinking that the card is legit? Or is he saying that somebody cracked open a real PSA 10 holder, pulled the card and inserted a reprint and resealed it? Either way, with the clear disclaimer in the listing that the card is a reprint, the fact that people are willing to bid is up to $660 doesn't make me feel too good about the future of this item. Too easy to pass it off as the real thing one transaction down the line.

Perhaps it was because of such potential counterfeiters that PSA recently changed their label to include an embedded logo that can only be seen with the "PSA decoder"...

I would not consider this to be a particularly deceptive forgery.

I've probably bought only a handful of PSA graded cards, and throw the PSA stuff (the case) away, so it looks good to me. <BR><BR>What a fascinating idea! In each case, the label on top is the real thing and the one on the bottom is the forgery from the PSA 10 Jordan.<BR><BR>First, the font that was used on the forgery is only somewhat similiar to PSA's font. You will note distinct differences in characters such as "E" "R" and "#".
