Posted By: runscott
This is the most beautiful card I've seen - scans definitely don't do them justice. I thought I was just adding to my Rucker collection, but I guess I will be getting an extra job at night...

Posted By: Julie Vognar
I tried to find some consensus, and I couldn't. Me, I've had 1 Ramley for 15 years, and felt perfectly satisfied. Also, I think the E-90-1 Jackson looks like Adolph Hitler (with the little red mustache). I can see someone looking at my l8ist and thinking "a '58 Topps Mays? All he's doing is smiling into the camera". There were 2 or 3 T3 Speakers, 2 T227 Cobbs, 2 Cracker Jack Mathewsons, 2 Goudy '33 #181 Ruths...but no one card that EVERYBODY wanted.

Julie

Posted By: scott brockelman
i have spent several years collecting this set and i feel it is a great presentation of carl horners work, many of these same photos were used on team postcards, large size premiums etc. of the day, just fantastic images of these early 20th century players, many of them very young at the time of the photograph. i much prefer the "real" photo T & E cards to the art drawing cards, but admittedly collect all.

scott

also, if you are ever looking for other ramlys i have a few dupes.
