Just picked up these postcards in a trade and thought I would share given their unique nature

First is picture of a guy holding a newspaper with the headlines Reds Beat Sox 5-0 which idicates it is after game #5 which had that score. Ink message on side margin of postcard states "When the Reds Won, So Did I Ha Ha" likely indicating he bet on the game. There is a San Francisco photographer credit on the back.

Second postcard is a 1926 Tigers vs. White Sox game at Comiskey Park. Message on back identifies date and that Cobb is at bat those he is bent over when the person took the picture. Pre-1930 Comiskey Park real photo postcards are pretty tough to find as I have only ever had a couple. Note the way the owner spelled Cobb's first name.

Fantastic postcards, Patrick. Especially love that 1919 series one. Wonder who the fella is and if he had any connection to the gamblers.
