Hi, I just picked up this snapshot of Teddy Ballgame, presumably taken in Hawaii during the war. I'm wondering if anybody knows what stadium this image was taken in, and who is standing next to Ted? I've included images of a jersey and poster that was sold by Golden a few years back that shows what looks like the same uniform — in fact, the image of Ted on the poster is the same as mine. Most photos I found online of Ted during the war show a different style Navy jersey. It looks like this one could be from 1945. All help is very much appreciated, Chris

Great snap Chris!!!

Im 99% sure its Honolulu Stadium based on the stands/overhang. Not sure about the other player or coach guy.

Thanks Lucas. I just searched for a sharper image of the ballpark, and this is the best one I've come up with so far. I see a lot of similarities, and a few differences. Since the stadium was used during the war for so many different things, I wouldn't be surprised if it was constantly being altered. This photo captures a mustering-out ceremony just after the war.
