People with trained eyes. What one do you think is the better card. Left or Right

To these eyes, the one on the left looks better. It's not as faded and the corners are much sharper.

Right is better centered, left is far less faded. I would prefer the left.

The left is better EXCEPT is there a brown stain ( large and to the right cheek in a large triangle shape ) or is this just the lighting? Is it “as printed” or is it actually some brown discoloration ? Might have to see it in person to be sure……

The right side of the left cards sure looks trimmed to me. I'll go out on a limb and say that I would take the right card.

I think that is his dimple. If I'm seeing what I think you're talking about it's on both cards one is just darker then the other.

Being in slabs they look to be the same size when held ove one another. Hard to get a measurement.

Is that a pin hole on the top border middle? If so it’s a 1.

Nope. Not sure why it looks like that. Not there with a close up. I see what you do in the photo, but its not there with a close up shot. Kinda weird. I'm thinking it was dust?

Just judging by photo image I like the one on the right...his face is more clearly detailed and not so much in shadow.

I like the left only because of the darkness of the print. Both really nice.

I prefer the one on the right. Registration seems clearer to me

Should I resubmit them both? The 5.5 can't be lowered, but not sure the 5 will gain any points.

Though I disagree with the right card grading slightly higher, I would not resubmit. Not worth the money, given PSA's random subjectivity.

I agree. Do not resubmit. They could come back with a lesser grade ( not that they would, but not worth the gamble ).

Nice cards.

I think their policy states grades can't be lowered, but they can be raised. That's why I thought about sending both in.

I don’t see the point of resubmitting, the grades seem fine in general. One thing that is interesting is the pictures themselves on the cards are centered differently. The one on the left the signature is right on the bottom of the photo area, and is slightly higher on the right. Different print runs?

Also, shows you that grading a card by itself is different than side by side, especially when looking at photo sharpness and quality. Do they have a reference photo to guide the grading? Or they just look at the card itself?

To me, the 5 looks better and I would leave them the way they are. Nice cards.
