At the risk of piling on, it's bad.

I recently started working on the T205 set. If the Cobb in question is fake, can someone provide reasons why and what to look for? I know the evenly rounded corners are always suspicious, but what else makes this card an obvious fake just from a few pictures?

Deliberate balanced markings on both sides. Pretty obvious doctoring..

The print quality is off. It's hard (for me, at least) to describe, but if you handle enough of them you can tell that the color/resolution of the printing on the front and back is off.

And once in hand, you should usually be able to detect some gold flakes on the border.

If your not too sure what to look for you will be better off buying a graded example -- most of the Ruth or Cobb cards on eBay ungraded are usually reprints. Descriptions as bought at a estate sale, not sure, maybe, etc---the one you asked about is pretty obvious a reprint--good luck!
