For anyone who used to use Gavelsnipe, I understand they are ceasing their operations as of June, 1, 2021. Don't know for sure, but if that means they are shutting down the website and it will no longer be available, anyone who used to access the site as a way to keep track of their purchases might want to go and copy or somehow download the data before those records may be lost.

Wow that's a bummer. I started using them on advice from folks here on Net54, and have found much success. Picked up quite a few eBay items where I was not available to bid at the end.

I'll have to find another source if they cease operations.

I've been using Auction Sniper for years - never a problem. If you sign up please put me in as a referral - I get a few free snipes. Thanks.

Most of us migrated over to Gixen. They work great.

I hope it's OK to add to this thread by asking what free sniping services people have had success with as of late. BidSlammer is great but number of snipes is limited. Gixen has worked but I don't like the format. Are there any where you're given more than just a few freebies at one time?

GavelSnipe was fine until all the issues started.

I just wanted to be able to have access to the historical bid data as I had placed about 18,000 bids through Gavelsnipe over the years, winning almost 3,000 of them. Not perfect, but it lets you see what you paid for something, plus postage, and has at least a quick, brief description of what you had won.

I ended up just printing out the pages of listings I had won, and then scanned them all in so I have one digital file of all the data now.

I moved on to Gixen as well, and it works fine.

Just a follow-up regarding the Gavelsnipe shut down back on 6/1. Apparently the site is still there, and the bid history is also still available, at least it was for me. So if someone wanted to access their bids for record keeping purposes it looks you can still get them, at least for now.
