I watch pack opening videos, old and new, for fun on YouTube.

Tonight the YouTube channel Jabs Family is going to open a 1955 Topps pack. Video I think is at 7. I will be watching much later and am curious, if it’s wax cello or Kets hope not 😠CHRISTMAS RACK

I'm hoping someone purchases that sealed brick of 1952 Topps packs from Baseball Card Exchange and opens it. Anyone here have a spare $570,000 and wants to take the plunge :D

Might be an opportunity for that new investment group that sells shares of a high end item. You can own a piece like stock in a company.

God I hope not. I hate the fact the hobby is becoming more and more of a commodity trading each and every day. Prices out people that just want to collect.

That's what all breaks are right? You're buying a piece of the action? What's the difference?

He's not opening a pack, he's breaking a complete set.

Yeah, that was kinda disappointing. You already know what's being given out. Only of interest to the participants.

With old unopened being pretty uncommon, I really dislike pack opening for vintage stuff.
Bust a pack or box or case of newish cards? Great!
Reduce the small number of old unopened packs? Nope.

One of the greatest thrills of my collecting life was opening a pack of 1955 Topps bought at the National in Atlanta, 1992. I was hoping for Roberto or Sandy, but no such luck- got Vic Power, Willie Miranda, Joe Black, Harry Agannis among the group. Power was the best, he sits in an SGC 60 holder. Still own the wrapper, it was exhilarating to open it. Trent King
