I am sure this exists somewhere here, but cannot find it.
Has anyone complied a list of the top 10 or 20 cards by price- of the 520?

Moving target right now, especially depending on the grade.

I would also move Cobb bat off above bat on. Its not quite as tough from the pop reports, but definitely more popular. Remember, the red Cobb is by far the most plentiful.

Am I wrong in thinking that Demmit St L in the REA was a helluva buy?

What about HOFer’s with rare backs like a Uzit or Lenox?

What about HOFer’s with rare backs like a Uzit or Lenox?

That’s another matter altogether. The condition, coupled with the type of back and relative scarcity of the particular front/back combo, will combine to impact price/value. For example, a Wajo portrait (yup I said Wajo) is super tough in an old mill back, and a 1 could go for more than a Sovereign 150 in a 6 or a common back in a 7+. Meanwhile, certain red Hindus are actually pretty common, and while they will go for more than a common bank, the multiple is not as great.

There are a zillion threads on this on the site about this.

Also, not all Sweet Caps and Piedmonts are created equal. Piedmont fact 42 is very rare and sells for a major multiple - attached is one of only two known tinker bat off fact 42s. Also, in my experience, Sweet Cap factory 25s are more difficult than fact 30’s in the 150 and 350 series. Finally, I prefer series 150 to any other because it’s 1909; but that really has little impact on value.

That's a surprise.
I have a HOF rare back in low grade, and when I looked up past sales, there appeared to be nearly no additional value.

OH, and if someone had told me years ago that Cobb green would pass Demmit and O Hara, I wouldn't have believed it.
