OK, can someone explain the reason for so many high priced 1990 Bo Jackson Diamond King cards on the 'Bay?

There are a boatload of cards priced over $100 and a handful over $300. Something about a 'white dot' on his lip.

If things fall out like I'm hoping, I may be rich. ;)

seems like a scam, i mean plenty of them with the "white dot" are selling for $1 or less.

Probably like the Fleer Jose Uribe scam.

There is a version of the Bo DK card listed in error guides since 1990 that refers to a “redone I in Diamond Kings” which is all the info provided. This has circulated on want lists for ages now. I believe that I figured out what it referred to and it is extremely trivial and affects several, or all, of the other DKs in the set. When I initially listed this card 2-3 years ago, I had priced it high with a best offer. It didn’t sell. I held the card. Fast forward to this last year and several listings turn up with a variety of print errors on the Bo DK, also asking higher prices. Is this relate? Maybe, maybe not.

interesting - my apologies for calling it a scam above. would be great to find out more details on this, since it seems near impossible to figure out any difference.
