This has probably been done before but I would love to see your favorite baseball as art images, paintings, etc.

One of my favorite rooms at the HOF in Cooperstown is their Baseball as Art exhibits - I highly recommend a stop and visit.

I’ll start with artist Joel Libby’s Matty - this one is KILLER cool, IMHO. (All of his others are just as amazing... this one happens to be my fave)

Speaking of Matty, this is my favorite.
Graig's rendition makes it seem like a color photograph

This has always been one of my favorite baseball paintings. This image captures the great Cool Papa Bell sliding into third in a close play. I really like the elongated figures and the drama they display. You can see Cool Papa's long leg reaching third before the throw makes it to the glove of the third baseman. It reminds me of the loose uniforms and lanky looking players in the Negro Leagues back in the early part of the 1900's.

The artist is Kadir Nelson. Kadir doesn't exclusively paint baseball art, but this work is simply fantastic.

Any of Graig's work is top notch. If I was an ecntric billionaire, after I finished off buy the cards I wanted, I would commission him to make some artwork for me :D

I also love Ron Lewis' work. I own many of his prints. My complete signed copies of his "Living Legends" set are one of the parts of the collection that I'm the most proud of.

I don't know if the OP would rule these on-topic or not, but I find them pleasing. It is always astonishing to consider the age of such delicate pieces.

When I see an artist, I grab their advertising card. If the vibe is right, I request an autograph. Having no space for large art pieces, this is an alternative for me. I also enjoy sports card dealer business cards. Many of them display nice art in addition to their business information. For me they are today's trade cards.
Here are a couple of Artists autographed promotional cards. Hopefully this fits in with the subject matter.

I really liked some of the Topps Project 2020 art cards. They are now coming out with them as prints.

There is a member of our forum who makes cards from cut cards. Couldn't find him in search. He has some fantastic pieces.

I picked-up this piece quite a few years ago at one of the Cleveland Nationals, by Herbert Bohnert, roughly 18”x40”. From what I can tell, it’s circa 1930-1940 and was designed to support some sort of magazine advertisement. If anyone has any further details, I’d much appreciate a PM. Thanks.

Here is one of my favorite pieces of artwork depicting the Polo Grounds Left Field stands in the distance which gives me flashbacks to my youth.
