Have a few older graded cars in the prior SGC slab...40/3, 45/3.5 etc

Is there any reason besides having consistency across my collection to swap these to the newer flip?

Value difference etc

Thanks in advance.

Does their website registry allow you to put old cert numbers in with new ones yet? That might be a reason.

They no longer have a Guarantee on newly graded cards, so if yours fall under the Guarantee they used to have, you might not want to switch to the new holders in case you ever want to make a legal case they owe you, if your card ends up trimmed or counterfeit or otherwise altered.

I prefer the esthetics of the old green label, putting that GIANT grading number on there is at best poor design, and at worst, a crime against humanity. Was the reasoning so people could see the grade from across the convention room floor? These are folks that inspect cards with a jewelers loop, I'm sure they could see the grade if you knocked the font down a peg or two.
