Does Speaker have any other supplements besides the Sporting News?

I don't know if they're technically considered supplements or not, but you should check out the M113 and M114 issues from Baseball Magazine. They certainly meet the size requirements.

There's a tough set of Boston Sunday Post supplements from 1909 which feature the Red Sox. I was fortunate to acquire a set of them many years ago, and haven't seen too many of them around.

I don't have a picture of my Speaker handy, but found this one online....

1909 Boston Herald - same photo as Sporting News, but different caption. See here:

As Rhett explains in the post, the Red Sox players came in pairs with their Braves NL counterpart, so some times you'll find Speaker attached next to (I believe) Ginger Beaumont of the Braves.

I just got my set of these out to add a photo - most of these were issued in two player panels. I added the Speaker panel here, and also have a photo of the Cicotte panel too.

There are 3 Speaker versions that I know of on an m114, two are different photos, one is a different caption.

There are also 3 Speaker versions that I know of on an m113, all three are the same picture.

My Topps baseball card print variation beginnings cause me to call the slight differences in placement of the captions of the top two in the first picture to be a variation, others may disagree.

But, the addition of two lines of print on the left side make for an easy to agree on variation on the bottom version (which Tom also posted already).

Speaker also has both a Baseball Monthly and a Blum's Bulletin supplement...

Those are beautiful Scott. If you ever want to move them, let me know.

Thanks Doug - appreciate it. They won't be leaving my Red Sox collection any time soon, but would keep you in mind if they ever do....

According to Old Cardboard, the monthly is from 1962, and Blum's is from 1933-34.
