Great article, thanks for posting. The Pottsville roots are fascinating along with the rest of his journey. Everyone knows the stories of the big names, but it's great to shine a light on these lesser known players. It seems that with enough research, many times, these "common" players have interesting stories too.

Thanks...Berry is no longer a common fruit in the 1933 Goudey set for me. There should be a Hall of Fame that specifically consists of just such cross-sport individuals such as Charlie.
