Dunno if this has been seen here or not.
The biggest sports memorabilia valuation in ANTIQUES ROADSHOW history gives this PBS icon series a home-run season 19 premiere! Watch to see some of the first baseball cards to be printed, plus personal letters from members of the Boston Red Stockings from the 1870s.

This is old, but it still needs mentioned, those aren’t baseball cards, they are photos cut from the covers of scorecards.

+1 ...That is what I was thinking. Aren't those Mort Rogers scorecard front covers cut down? Still super awesome. I am a bit pessimistic on the 1M valuation also. Maybe closer to 10%? of that....

here's an old thread (from 2018) on the same find:

when will they be auctioned? And who will auction them? I'm interested in a few of the scorecard covers if they are broken up. I've been waiting for 2 years now...:D

Derek- I don't believe they are coming on the market. My guess is they would be sold as one lot, if they were ever for sale or auctioned.

Gary - wishful thinking on my part.
I will not (could not) be paying that kind of cash if they were ever sold as one lot. I'd take a stab at one or two of them though. It is such an incredible lot though...good for the old lady!

Not sure of the value but pretty sure their estimates are on the high side...even if it is a PBS show it sounds better at 1 mil than 100K, right?
