Great topic and amazing image Packs! I was very happy to get these. I am amazed at the quality of the one where he holds the four baseballs.

....Last card in a bums uniform ; he was considered too ''wild'' to ever really amount to the likes of Billy Pierce or Robin Roberts or Whitey Ford.....

My oldest brother claims he was there for Sandy's perfect game. He had the habit of keeping ticket stubs from that era, of which I have a pile. If he indeed was, unfortunately on that day he did not hang onto the ticket stub.

I guess I just have to believe my brother.

I love this picture.

I have never seen this image either. Incredible. Quiet grace and humbleness is what I have always thought of Sandy. This photo captures that incredibly well.

So poignant! It also harkens back to the Honeymooners era! Really cool!

Peace, Mike

It’s a beautiful photo. Technically it isn’t mine. My dads a Koufax freak too. I bought it for him years ago when photos weren’t as appreciated as they are now.

Never seen that photo of Sandy either! Very cool unique perspective!

Thought I'd share one of my snapshots of Sandy from 1956...with fellow no-no pitcher Sal Maglie.
