Here is a hobby unicorn: an R340 Sport Kings premium of Dempsey, Baer and Carnera using an image from the MGM film The Prizefighter and the Lady. There are two known specimens of SK premiums, this one and Weissmuller.

I like that Altrock photo so much, I'll add my own WS photo. Bucky Walters is congratulated after his Game 6, 8th inning home run, in 1940. He shutout the Tigers 4-0.

Additionally, not pre-war, but it's Barry Larkin's celebration hat from the 1990 WS.

Finally, my 1938 W711-1 partial set. I've seen more complete 1940 sets (3), plus 1 with a box!, than 1938 sets (0).

I like the deception in the picture of the left edge of the table. I thought it was the shadow of the cards, and I was wondering how you faded out the table. But then I realized the card shadow actually was the table edge. I like it. Well done.

That's cool....

and a postcard I have always thought is awesome, even with the somewhat light image.

My great Uncle Sam (third guy up) with his friend, Norman, standing next to Mickey Mantle, at the 1958 WS. The second man, standing next to Norman, is Dizzy Trout, who I can only assume was friends with my Uncle Sam and his friend, Norman?
