Anyone here have a Canon 9000F Mark II scanner and know how to scan chrome cards in slabs so that they're not glowing? I've been tinkering with the settings, but no luck so far. This is what the scan should look like:

And this is my scan:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The red and white on the flips are pretty different. You might be able to scan as you are, then adjust down the brightness and contrast of your image a tiny bit.

I was able to keep all my stock settings and only change the Grain Correction setting and got the following results at 300dpi. Top is a Low setting, Middle is a medium setting, and the bottom is the high setting. Unfortunately I don't have any graded chrome cards.

I think using my cell phone to take a picture of the chrome card came out maybe better than the scan.
