I don't have any items of Ty Cobb. I have been saving to splurge on a higher level Hall of Famer. I was exploring and saw that I could buy a B18 felt, or a strip card for about the same price. I also saw a T202 with a Ty Cobb center for roughly the same price. Whats the suggestions?

I've also thought of continue saving for a low end Cobb in the low $1000 range. But I get trigger happy and usually can't wait that long. Lol

Of course, I've noticed some nice hall of fame t206 cards in that general price range as well. I occasionally see Lajoie slightly higher in the $700 range.

P2 pin or Colgan chip can be had for way under $1k.

i've always been a fan of the 1921 Exhibit for a inexpensive Cobb and they are far better looking in my opinion than a strip or felt. You should be able to get a VG copy in the $5-600 range.

Hands down, best value and presentation is a B18 in my opinion!

B18
T202
Strip card

Those are all very different styles.
Which one do you like the best?
If you were buying a common and not Cobb which would you like the best? That's what I'd suggest buying.

I'd say it depends on your budget. If you are looking to pick something up for under $500 the targets are different than if you are planning to hold off until you have $1000 to spend.

And a few scans. :)

Couldn’t agree more. Love those things!
