Thanks, everyone. :)

Pete, I do have some nicer ones than this, but condition isn't necessarily the key for me...
Rob, I have the KNGO in the same pose/team, also raw. I do not believe the portrait is in the KNGO/VE series.

I didn't make it to the Philly show this weekend...I can't remember the last time I actually bought a card there, but I do enjoy going every time and was sorry to miss it!

This month is starting off awesome - a T216 VE, a T215-2, a 1907 Dietsche Cobb, two T206 Cobbs and an E121 Cobb, and a W600 to boot. Holy rare March.

Here are few recent pickups (some from February that I had not yet posted); I recognize the final one is not a card, but was from a sports AH, it is vintage, and its my first non-sport piece and I am psyched to own it, so i will show it off here!

Although this project has been in the works for some time, it has all just come together. It is a complete set of the 1947 Bond Bread Cards (Baseball only) displayed atop a Bond Bread crate from April of 1947 (4-47). The cards not displayed on top, can be seen resting in the bottom of the crate as I opted to have piece of 1/4 acrylic cut to serve as the top. Mind you, I am not a "card guy" per say, but when I saw this crate with the date, I just knew I had to go down this path..

Magnificent display and collection Dave, that crate is an amazing vehicle to further tell the story!!!

Can I ask if you were given explanation for the Auth grade on the Jackie?
I picked up mine many years ago and also received the same Auth flip when I had it graded some 10 or so years ago...even though I doubt it's ever received any alterations.

Hey thanks Sam! It's been a really fun project that has taken off the past year or so.
Set has been built with Centering in mind, as well as for eye appeal.
about 95% is PSA, the rest SGC, and with the only cards below a 4.0 being the O'Hara & Ed Foster (both 3's).

Not too often you get to post cards from an unknown issue, thanks to Ryan for making them available. All Cuban players with Major League clubs, obviously made for that market although the backs indicate an English speaking audience, more questions than answers.

Dibut and Acosta I don't believe ever had a card issued picturing them with their Major League clubs other than these (Palmero's only US issue is a Postaco Stamp). They all had Cuban cards issued but these are great (even with the damage)...

Picked up my very first Red Old Mill, and a Hofer to boot, from the very rare Pecos, Texas find. A prominent oil family in the valley has held these cards in gem mint condition since their grandfather collected them from red Old Mill cigarettes packs in the early 20th century. Enjoy...

Nice Rob. I'd had my eye on that one but couldn't pull the trigger.

Thanks, Luke.

Like Colin Quinn says, tough crowd, tough crowd. It was my feeble attempt at an April Fools Day joke. Back to the drawing board for next year...Rob
