The coin grading companies use the term "DETAILS" in
a similar way the cards graders use "AUTHENTIC."
On the coin slabs, it will usually say the approximate
grade range of the coin had it received a real grade
along with a reason.
Does anyone think this would solve any problems if
a similar designation was added to "Authentic Altered"
slabbed cards.
maybe "ALTERED ~ VG DETAILS" or "ALTERED ~ NM QUALITIES"
