I noticed a spike in the number of new listings of Cracker Jack cards recently on ebay. Primarily 1914. Anyone know if this has anything to do with some of the upcoming major auctions?

I'm trying to figure out patterns and opportunities to pick up on CJ's.

It’s a set that a lot of people attempt and then end up abandoning due to funds or scarcity of certain cards. I believe there’s still around 5 cards from the set that have a combined pop of 30 or less examples.

There's actually 30 cards with 30 or less. Tough set. But one of the best all-time!

The six '14 CJ's with total pop of 30 or less are:
No Number Bresnahan (25) PSA - 21, SGC - 4
#95 Keating (27) PSA - 20, SGC - 7
#87 Cady (28) PSA - 18, SGC - 10
#93 Pratt (30) PSA - 19, SGC - 11
#86 Shotten (30) PSA - 22, SGC - 8
#96 Becker (30) PSA - 17, SGC - 13

I wonder how many of those are crack-and-resubmits?

The 1914 Cj set is the greatest set of them all imo.

I had a soul crushing loss on a ‘14 CJ Sam Crawford that I made plans for in my collection. I think “soul crushing” is the keyword when it comes to this set.

Even with the influx of them in various auctions I may never see the ones I want for several years.
