I bought a new "HP ENVY 5055",printer-scanner.
If I scan a graded card,and it's a light color,sometimes
"light-blue" for example looks like no color.
Is there something, that I can do?I tried to darken it.
I see an "Edit"option, that can be used before final scan.
"Contrast.brightness,etc.Can I use these?Also,there are adjustments,
in sight when going to Scan,first."Resolution"etc.
I'm Low,Low,Tech.
Thanks,
Ben

Unfortunately your scanner uses CIS technology for scanning. You need a scanner with CCD technology to properly scan graded cards. There really isn't any setting to fix a CIS scanner. I use a Canon CanoScan 9000F Mark 2 and it does crystal clear scans for coins, stamps, and cards. Here's a small article from Luke Lyon on scanners. http://www.thatt206life.com/2019/03/17/mailbag-what-is-the-best-scanner-for-graded-cards/

Agree - Even the lowest end CCD will outperform a high end CIS.

BTW - I also use Canoscan 9000F Mark 2 - Very Happy with it.
