View Full Version : 1900s Baseball T- Cards Except T206
They are almost socially incorrect in society today but cigarettes, and other tobacco, once housed some great looking baseball cards. The other thread on E cards worked out fairly well so why not one on T's? And since there are more T206 threads than all others combined (probably) let's make this thread all of them Except T206. Here is a scarce one, the way I like them, with a big border and which isn't likely trimmed, conserved or restored. It is a PSA 1.5 :)
No conservation or restoration on this sucker either!

This thread makes me miss my Obaks...
I ultimately sold them off because I was concerned about having so much $ tied up in minor leaguers, but they are great cards!

Like the Obaks I had, I sold them off. I do miss them sometimes though. I was torn between collecting minor leaguers vs major leaguers and still not sure I have that completely reconciled.

I am a big fan of red on cards, the more red the better.:) I was torn between going for the whole T210 set or just the Ft Worth team. About 80-100 cards in I decided to just do the team. I miss the ones I sold sometimes also.
This is my one and only Obak, there are some very nice looking cards in the set.

Leon, that is a great looking bunch of t205s. I am embarrassed to ask, but I don’t know much about the set (and have never owned a single card), but why do some pics have diamonds in the background of the front portrait and some do not? Different years?
