The Spring CSA Chantilly show is this weekend --- March 29-31! There will be the usual 300 plus tables of cards and sport related items and more than 75 autograph guests will be signing. Go to CSA shows on the internet for a complete listing of the signers.

We will be at our usual location (tables 623, 625 and 627). Please stop by and say hello. Ask to see our "new to us" T206s and T207s plus additions from a 1952 to 1967 collection. If you attend Friday ask to see the 1959, 1962, 1963 and 1967 high numbers.

Hope to see many Net54 folks this weekend.

Hoping to make it up on Sunday and knock out a few more from my '57 and '65 working sets.

Are they going to do the Net 54 member special again?

Hope to see everyone there Tom Botticelli and I will be at 115 and 117 which has been our home for about a year now.

We will both have T206's (Tom will have more and better ones, I'll have affordable ones :) As well as my awesome bargain bins.

Also we will have catalogs for our live auction in Hershey, PA April 13th, and are looking for consignments to round out our May 11th Auction. That auction has a complete set theme going with 1953 Topps, 1955 Topps, 1959 Fleer etc... Our big buyers will be there so if you want to get in on the fun as a consignor we kill it with sets! Stop by and say hi!

Was hoping they were doing this as well but don't see a thread started by the promoter this time.

Maybe the show isn't doing well? Or our Friday freebie is gone? Either way it would be good to know what's up.

I wish I could make it but not this time. I always look forward to Willard’s. Enjoy everyone.

IMHO (and my wife agrees), Willard's has the best BBQ in No. VA!

Hope it's not a bummer of a show this time for us vintage collectors. I am told that some of the vintage dealers who usually set up at Chantilly are instead at Strongsville, Ohio, this weekend. These two good shows don't usually coincide.

I attended the Chantilly Show today. Attendance appeared to be greater than usual for Friday. No free admission for Net54ers. A few regular dealers who specialize in vintage were missing - they went to Strongsville I was told.

I was looking for some relatively pedestrian cards...filling out a 1955 set, not too discriminate about the grade and I did fine and was fairly confident I got the cards in the range of eBay prices. It was missing several of my favorite dealers, William Chappell and Uncle Dick, but everything seemed to go fine. I did a consignment and did a lot of visiting so it was all good.

I went Sunday and was disappointed there wasn't a Net54 discount. Show was packed, but mostly for autograph seekers.

Agreed, was there Sunday and the big crowd was around the autograph guests.

Success in shrinking the want lists down for '57 and '65, even if just a handful each.
