This is a paid ad.

Here is a friendly reminder to all of our members concerning the GZauctions current auction closing tomorrow.
https://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/135309_sports-cards-and-memorabilia-photos-and-ephemera/

There are some absolutely fantastic things in this, fresh to the market, auction. There are tons of Zeenuts, many with coupon, T cards, trade cards, Topps cards as well as autographs, type 1 photos and all kinds of other things.
Everyone on this forum should take a look. There are some items which are almost never seen, up for grabs. Good luck to the bidders, consignors and the auction house. And thanks again to Grant and team for allowing Net54baseball to once again help spread the word of their auction to the largest vintage baseball/sport collector group on the internet.

I agree. Some fantastic cdvs that didn't go unnoticed.

Leon- I had a copy of that cdv at one time. In fact a few cdvs from my former collection were in the auction. It was a real nice auction for early stuff. I was surprised the Live Oak Polka passed at $8K. My pick up was not a photograph, but I'll show it here, the 1878 Tecumseh Trophy ball. Ross Barnes, a focal point of my collection, was player-manager of the Tecunsehs and I'm happy to finally get a piece from that team.

Gary, very happy you got that ball. In a very short period of time you have found two needles in a haystack.
I picked up a small piece I am looking forward to trying to research. The oddball “close of the ball season”, photo/drawing. Some of the images seem very early and there is even a photographer and an artist pictured.
Also surprised that Live Oak music did not sell, but the stereoview was very nice.

Bruce-The Live Oak stereoview was a different team, although I'm not sure where they were from. The Rochester Live Oaks were gone by 1861 or 1862, I believe.
I have been fortunate lately on the collecting front.
