Thanks Jason, nice article. My first thoughts are: how extensively were Goudeys distributed west of the Mississppi River? Why is Oakland (and the San Francisco Bay Area) represented and not Los Angeles? And why in the world, out of all the guys who played west of the Mississippi River in 1933, was Pete Scott selected?

He was a very good hitter in the minors. Not the best in the PCL or even on the Oaks but still very solid.
