What service do you recommend to access past auction results for specific cards?
Card Target (cardtarget.com) is one of the best out there, beside's PSA's for their holdered cards.

Jay I started using the Collectables app. You get historical sales data from many auction houses in seconds.

PWCC supposedly has a free database with 14 years worth of eBay sales.

Scott-That’s just what I needed—thanks! Do you know if their praises are after the buyer’s premium? I assume they are.

Peter-What is the Collectibles app?
Jay,
I would assume so.
Here is the Collectable app link, it is for those that use their phone for searches and at shows, etc.

I use VCP- the premium service with pics. It’s got its shortcomings (many actually), but it’s pretty good, and you can search by card make/model, grade, player, etc and it shows sales PSA separate from SGC and separate from BVG and GAI (which I don’t often look at). I supplement with google searches.

Prices include the BP. I have been working with the owners of CardTarget. Email me if you need any help. edhans@monkberry.com

+1. That is precisely my approach (I am old school and definitely not an "app" type).
Good luck in your collecting,
Larry
