I was surfing and came across an 1886-7 Old Judge graded by SCG as Authentic but it also had Rebacked on the tag. I don't know what this means? Does it mean someone put a new back on it but it is still an 1886 Old Judge so is Authentic? Thanks.

Yep, you've got it right. It was probably pulled from a scrapbook and the back didn't make it out of the book. Someone then glued on a new back. So, the front is real, but it essentially has a replacement blank back.

Thanks - appreciate the quick response. I wonder how this affects the value?
