Anyone who remembers the expose book "The Card" has been suspicious of these rare deals.

So knowing your submissions are scrutinized as a private collector, for your eyes: this is clearly not 50 / 50 side to side. Someone must have paid well.

50/50 centering is not a requirement for PSA GEM-MT 10.

Plus there was more tolerance during early grading.

This is absolutely not a 10, the only explanation is it was a reholder from a much earlier period where they actually would slab a 60/40 card as a 10.

From what i've seen that doesn't happen any more. a 55/45 won't slab as a 10 any more.

While the submissions standards may not have technically changed, the actual process has definitely changed.

Still a beautiful card, but that's not a 10.
