Not sure I have seen a compromised BCCG holder but there is no way this is legit? I guess the same holders aren't used in different parts of their company. I was expecting to see Reprint on the flip. Not that it hasn't happened but I don't ever remember seeing a fake card in a BCCG holder.

Why, just why. It's a terrible reprint to boot.

My guess is that the plastic bag around the holder is hiding the real truth - that the Ruth is not in the holder, but on top of the holder for the picture. If you look at the penny sleeve the card is in, it extends way beyond the cutout for the card in the holder.

I see a lot of cracks at the top of the holder near the flip. The worst being at the top left corner running down past the B in BCCG.

on the reverse , at the bottom , in tiny letters , : "Renata Galasso Reprint" --- that's why it's in a despicable modern-card "BCCG" slab---- were it an original it would have been shunted over to the "BVG" section of the grading dept.

I'm curious what comes up when you plug in the number on Beckett's site. I would do it myself, but I get annoyed having to sign in for anything on their website.

Maybe the word "reprint" was simply photoshopped of the flip.

nice catch - i think you've got it

and by got it, meaning you have told us exactly what it going on

didn't mean to say that it was your card - so wanted to clarify
