I saw this 1929 Exhibit and wondered if it's real. With the bright white showing from the creases and bent back corner, I doubted it. But thought I'd find out what everyone else thought. I put it in this section because I know the Exhibit expert hangs out here. Hey Adam.:D

I've not heard of these being counterfeited. Could be just the lighting making the areas seem brighter. If the seller has a decent rep, I'd take the risk on it at the right price.

Like this one on Ebay? In pristine condition...it sure looks real to me. You have to ask why would anyone bother creating a fake of this to begin with. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1929-EXHIBIT-SUPPLY-CO-STAR-PICTURE-STAMPS-INCLUDING-RUTH-AND-DEMPSEY/273372023686?hash=item3fa63e0b86%3Ag%3ANDIAAOSwvx5 bV7KP&_sacat=0&_nkw=1929+Exhibit+card&_from=R40&rt=nc&_trksid=m570.l1313

Who knows why someone would fake this, but they even fake common 1960's cards. It's not always about making money I guess.

Always loved that series. Probably the long retired philatelist in me.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...
